The Bellanet LAC team is implementing a project focused on the cooperative sector, as it positions itself as an alternative to the models imposed by the market economy and globalization trends. Using life stories and qualitative methodologies, the team will interview the key actors of the cooperative movement in Costa Rica to capture their knowledge, values and views.

Harambee - Strengthning African Ownership of the Development Agenda (Harambee)
Harambee is an initiative of the Association for Progressive Communications, Bellanet and the UN Economic Commission for Africa to enhance capacity development in Africa around the use of knowledge and ICTs for collaboration, such that Africa-based organisations are better equipped to play a lead role in development dialogues and action affecting them. Harambee is an initiative carried out under the Partnership for ICTs in Africa (PICTA).
